The purpose of Sharon Fellowship Church Adelaide -South Australia is
◈To edify and guide the believers to grow in Christ’s Knowledge and to strengthen them in spirit through regular systematic and balanced study of the Word of God, worship, fasting & prayer and fellowship, thereby becoming heirs to eternity.
◈Take the Gospel for Christ to the ends of the world, thereby expanding the kingdom for God. Reach every un-reached and establish churches, preach, and instruct every man to present them perfect in Christ Jesus.
◈Train and provide opportunities to those who have a calling for ministry and prepare them for the end time harvest
◈Stimulate Godly values in children by conducting Sunday school and Youth activities. Equip every child to serve the Lord and thus create a significant impact on this generation.
◈To meet each Sunday for worship, preaching, and Christian education.
◈To meet for observance of the Lord’s Supper.
◈Promote and encourage other weekly meetings for prayer, Bible study and fellowship.
◈To solicit, receive and maintain a fund or funds; real or personal property or both; to use and apply for whole or any part of the principal or income thereof for the purpose of this church and to assist missionaries in preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ in any part of the world.
Our church motto is "We preach Christ crucified." (1 Corinthians 1:23)

What We Believe
Our beliefs are rooted in Scripture and guide our faith, worship, and daily walk with Christ.
The Holy Bible
The Holy Bible – The Holy Bible, consisting of 66 books inspired by God, is the
basic doctrinal document accepted by the church. The prophet Isaiah when he
speaks about the Book of the Lord, in Isaiah 34:16, says, “For His mouth has
commanded and His Spirit has gathered them”. It was spoken by the holy men of
God, as moved by the Holy Spirit (2 Peter 1:21). Therefore, the church believes
and teaches that everything for a human being required to be in relationship with
Almighty God is available in the Holy Bible, to “Present every man
perfect in Christ Jesus” (Colossians 1 :28).
The Trinity
The Trinity – The church believes that the God head exists co-equally and co-
eternally in three persons the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit and that these
three are one God, sovereign in creation, providence and redemption.
While the Old Testament declares that there is only one God, (Exodus 20:3;
Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 43:10); we see plurality in creation itself (Genesis 1: 26.
3:22; 11:6-7). This plurality of Godhead is further seen throughout the New
Testament (2 Corinthians 13:14; Mathew 3:16-17; 28:19; 1 John 5:17 KJV).
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the deity of the Holy Spirit who proceeds from the
Father and the Son and the necessity of His work in conviction of sin, repentance,
regeneration and sanctification. The believer is also promised an endowment of power
as the gift of Christ through the baptism in the Holy Spirit with signs following.
Through this endowment, the believer is empowered for fuller participation in the
ministry of the Church, its worship, evangelism, and service.
The Saviour
We believe in:

*His authoritative teaching
*His substitution and atoning sacrifice through His blood shed
*His bodily resurrection
*His ascension to the right hand of the Father
